HISTORY AND DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
In 2010, Robert Wallis founded Wallis Design Studio Architects, an architectural firm focused on creating expressions in place through a commitment to collaboration, quality, and the desire to deliver great value to our clients. Located in Grass Valley, California, we are ideally situated to serve all areas of Nevada and Placer Counties.
 
The design and construction of any project requires a great deal of trust by the stakeholders that the project will live up to the expectations established at the outset. Keeping this in mind, we approach each project with great care. We work with our clients to develop a clear understanding of project goals, constraints, and expectations. It is based on this understanding that we assemble a project team, develop the design, and evaluate the best delivery method to ensure a successful completion of the project.

SPECIALIZED EXPERTISE
Wallis Design Studio takes a comprehensive approach to the support we offer our clients. We have organized our team to provide both Architectural and Interior Design services internally as applicable to each individual project. These services typically include predesign, schematic design, presentations, design development, construction documents, agency approvals, bid assistance, and construction administration. In addition, a Project Manager is assigned to each project, and works closely with all team members to ensure projects are delivered in a timely and professional manner. Services typically provided by our sub-consultant team include: civil engineering, planning, surveying, landscape architecture, structural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, fire sprinkler engineering, cost estimating, and geotechnical engineering.
